THis is my Cover Art for the Kid british CD, 'It's Not Just Black And White'. I chosen to have this title as it helps to reflect their music which often has upbeat, positive tones but upon listening or reading the lyrics can convey quite the opposite. The idea of using the Jack Flag (only called a Union Jack on the front of a ship)which is black and white with colour creeping in shows that simple things can change and that through darkness can come light, or colour showing that every thing is not always as it seems.
I decided to keep the theme of using the Jack Flag with the fading in colours as it is striking and eye catching. The page would leap out at the reader and grab their attention.
