19-22: Photos of possible locations and scenes.
23: Tale photo of storyboards, animate it and set it to music.
24&25: take photos of the places and make storyboard out of them.

VNV Nation Illusion.
I sent a message to VNV Nation on their website asking for permission to use Illusion as my song and i got a reply back saying that the person who runs the website has sent the message to Ronan Harris (the lead singer) and that he'd get in contact with me which looks promising.
I got started properly on the storyboard too and have the first 44 seconds planned.

VNV Nation - Illusion
Sent a message to VNV Nation asking if I would be able to use the song Illusion.
Listened to the song over and over and over to get the times of the different sections.Times:
0:00-0:21 Quite intro
0:21-0:44 Louder intro
0:44-1:26 First verse
1:26-1:30 Quite before chorus
1:30-1:50 Chorus
1:50-2:35 Second verse
2:35-2:39 Quite before chorus
2:39-3:21 Chorus x2
3:21-3:34 Quite (sounds like ending)
3:34-3:53 Piano (sounds like ending)
3:53-4:34 Chorus x2
4:34-4:41 fades out
4:41-4:47 Is silent
Looked at the total length and was a little bit worried at how long i was but was fairly confident that the video would be quite slow so it should match the song and go very well.
Started to make the real storyboard for Illusion, when it's finsihed i will sned it to VNV Nation so they can have a look at it, who better to get to criticize my work than the people who own the song I want to use?

Personal video / VNV Nation - Illusion
Want to make the video to be a bit personal and use home footage so i looked into videos that have been on TV and made a small list:
Changes - Kelly Osbourne ft. Ozzy Osbourne
Mockingbird - Eminem
Hellelujah - Paramore
These are just a few examples that show how home footage has been used in a video that has be aired on TV.

Zooming into a picture and then zoom out to reveal person is in a different location.
Video is to have sections of home footage. Use of photos and home footage playin on TV in the back ground.
Film the out side sections in the early morning. Look for days where mist and fog are possible. Overcast days would work well to emphasise on the negative, depressing topic.

SOCW
Got into a talk with the band Screams Of Cold Winter after listening to a few of their songs. Thinking of doing a video for Find my wings whcih is a song dedicated to Sophie Lancaster. Have a few ideas for the vidoe and I asked if i would be able to use the song. They said they might not be able to let me us it untill they have a release date for their album but that might not be in the time to meet the deadline. I just have to wait for a reply to see what they say.

Preparation
The music video has to start some where and preperation is key.
Just made this blog so that the Music Video has somewhere to show it's progress.
Today made a small list of song that would be good to make a music video for.

Seabound - hooked
VNV Nation - Illusion
The Prodidgy - Colours
Seether - Walk Away From The Sun
Extra thought went into the Seether songs. Thought quickly over a Colours and even made a short storboard for it, also thought of making it a collaberation. Special thought wen into VNV Nation - Illusion. Made short storyboards thought of scenes and locations for it. Thought up background and looked into the music videos out now to see if the ideas would be 'mainstream' enough.
